Nigerian Christian University expels Lesbian final year student..

The University authorities of Covenant University, Canaanland Ota in Ogun state, has sacked a 22-year old final year student of the University on grounds of lesbianism.

University Administration officer who spoke with Hope For Nigeria said that the student’s activities and unquenchable desire for other ladies was disturbing and embarrassing to the University.

He regrets the decision but said that sexual orientation and exploits does not give a Faith based University like Covenant, a good name.

Covenant University is located in Ota, Ogun State in Nigeria .It is Private Christian University. It is member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities.

same-sex sexual activity is punishable by death by stoning in the 12 states that have adopted Shari'a law, and by up to 14 years imprisonment throughout Nigeria. There is no legal protection against discrimination. Very few gays are out, and violence against LGBT people is frequent. Legislation is pending to criminalize same-sex marriage throughout Nigeria.

I don't really care what people do within the confines of their homes, but expelling this lady is just plain wrong. If the school feels so strongly about this act they should take her for counselling. If the church discriminates against these people, where then can they get help from...

WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?
